Great Books on Kickstarter in October 2017

I found several exciting new books on Kickstarter in October 2017. These include A Grandson Never Forgets, Elara STEM Girl, The Witch's Mess, and "Don't Bite the Babysitter". I'm proudly supporting all of these campaigns and encourage you to support them too!

 

My Monster Family by Karen Jacques

I recommend reading My Monster Family by Karen Jacques. It is the story of a young monster who is scared to go to he dad's house and meet his new step-mom. It is a beautiful story, perfect for new readers 6 to 8.

 

The Littles to the Rescue by John Peterson

I recommend reading The Littles to the Rescue by John Peterson. It is the story of a rescue mission to find Aunt Lily when she falls out of the glider while flying in a snow storm. This is a great book for readers new to chapter books ages 7 to 10.

 

Murray the Mailmonkey by Josh Merchant

I recommend reading Murray the Mailmonkey by Josh Merchant. It is the story of a monkey who delivers mail through the animal kingdom. It is geeat for kids ages 6 to 8.

 

The Girl Who Drank The Moon by Kelly Barnhill

I recommend reading The Girl Who Drank The Moon by Kelly Barnhill. It's the story of a baby rescued by a witch who drinks the magic of the moon and becomes a witch herself. It is a fun tale for kids 10 and older.

Hamilton Book Tag

Hamilton is a Broadway play about the founding fathers, specifically Alexander Hamilton, told in Hip-Hop style. The fun Tag combines that theme with Books!

 

Hatchet by Gary Paulsen

I recommend reading Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. This classic, wilderness survival tale follows thirteen-year-old Brian as he is lost deep the Canadian wilderness alone. It is perfect for young children ages 8 to 12.

 

The Twits by Roald Dahl

I recommend reading The Twits by Roald Dahl. This silly tale is about two mean, ugly, and dumb twits as they fight with each other and a family of monkeys. It is the perfect book for children ages 7 to 10.
